About Olivia
Olivia believes the more we come to know ourselves through processing our emotions and past experiences, the greater capacity we have for connection with ourselves and others. She aims to create a warm and intentional space for clients to understand themselves and their relationships better. Olivia desires for each client to experience the restoration of their relationships to themselves and others, so they can live in freedom and fullness of who they were created to be. If desired, Olivia can offer an approach to psychotherapy that intentionally incorporates the Catholic/Christian faith.
Many of my clients come to therapy seeking support with relational challenges, such as navigating a challenging relationship with parents, siblings, partner or spouse, or adult child; difficulty engaging in romantic relationships or friendships; or unwanted patterns of conflict avoidance, people-pleasing, reactivity, and identity concerns, which are often linked to past experiences that continue to hinder them today.
As well, many of the clients I work with struggle with anxiety and symptoms of trauma. These individuals, perhaps like yourself, desire to tend to unresolved emotional wounds and go to the deeper places of their hearts, not to stay in those painful places, but to shine a light on and bring healing to those areas, so they can live with greater freedom and authenticity.
Some of the people I work with are:
> Expecting and postpartum moms, moms who have experienced loss, and those longing to be moms
>Teens and young-to-middle-age adults wrestling with concerns of identity, vocation, and navigating healthy relationships with family, friends, and significant others as an adult.
> Individuals who have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual trauma and desire healing.
> Those who desire to improve their relationship to themselves (self-esteem, identity, bad habits, and addictions), others (address conflict-avoidance, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anger, social anxiety), and God (ability to trust God, discern well, live in alignment with faith).
