About Taylor

Hello, I’m Taylor! I’m so glad you’re here, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona, where I built a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and emotional well-being. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, helping clients explore how early experiences and unconscious patterns shape their present. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I find especially effective for individuals across the lifespan who are seeking mastery over their thought patterns and hoping to make new meaning from old experiences.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating transitions such as parental divorce, identity development, and self-esteem struggles. My goal is to help young people build resilience early on, so they can move forward with confidence and clarity. In my work with adults and couples, I integrate insight-oriented exploration with evidence-based techniques to support healing and personal growth. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and systemic approaches to help couples break out of negative interaction cycles, strengthen emotional connection, and rebuild trust. Whether working through communication challenges, life transitions, or relational wounds, I aim to create a safe space where both partners feel heard, understood, and supported.

In my work with addiction and recovery, I’ve witnessed the profound role faith can play in healing—offering strength, purpose, and a sense of belonging in the face of uncertainty. When appropriate, I thoughtfully incorporate spiritual values into the therapeutic process to support deeper healing and more grounded coping strategies.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me immersed in a good fantasy or sci-fi novel, or hosting trivia and board game nights with friends. If you'd like to connect, I’d be happy to answer any questions or simply have a conversation.

Taylor’s Approach

Taylor approaches therapy as a collaborative and compassionate journey—one where curiosity, honesty, and emotional insight open the door to transformation. She helps clients untangle the threads of their past to better understand the patterns influencing their present. With a grounding in psychodynamic theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Taylor balances deep emotional exploration with practical strategies, empowering clients to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them and step into a fuller sense of self.

In her work with couples, Taylor gently guides partners out of stuck, reactive cycles and into a space of emotional safety and attunement. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and a systems lens, she helps couples move from disconnection to reconnection—fostering vulnerability, clarity, and trust. Whether working with young people finding their voice or adults navigating the complexities of life and love, Taylor brings steadiness, empathy, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.
